Assistive Technology Act National Activities: State Training and Technical Assistance for Assistive Technology Programs and National Assistive Technology Public Internet Site

The Administration for Community Living (ACL) is announcing a discretionary grant competition for State Training and Technical Assistance for Assistive Technology Programs and National Assistive Technology Public Internet Site. The purpose of this grant is to provide training and technical assistance to support entities authorized under the Assistive Technology Act (AT Act) and entities not funded under the AT Act to improve the effectiveness of activities supported under the AT Act. This includes an assistive technology (AT) Internet site to provide comprehensive, up-to-date information on resources related to AT and programs funded under the AT Act. • The grant is expected to fund one cooperative agreement. • The estimated funding for this grant is $570,000. • The award ceiling is $570,000 and the award floor is $525,000. • Eligible applicants include domestic public or private nonprofit or for-profit organizations, institutions of higher education, state and local governments, and faith-based organizations. • The applicant must have experience and expertise in administering programs and providing technical assistance.
