Employee Assistance Program

The Ocean County Board of Commissioners is seeking a qualified firm to deliver a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for county employees and their immediate families. The contract is for a one‑year term with an optional second year and requires the provider to offer confidential counseling, substance‑abuse services, referral coordination, 24‑hour telephone access, and quarterly reporting. Vendors must have at least two years of relevant EAP experience, maintain appropriate insurance, and operate multiple facilities throughout Ocean County. • Provide up to three free counseling visits per employee, covering alcohol/drug abuse, mental health, financial, legal, and family issues. • Maintain 24‑hour hotline and regular office hours for employee access. • Submit quarterly case‑load reports and progress updates while preserving confidentiality. • Ensure Substance Abuse Professionals meet federal drug‑testing accreditation. • Must have multiple service locations across Ocean County. • Evaluation based on understanding, experience, contractual compliance, and cost.
