Description
The ScholarShare Investment Board is seeking a qualified investment consultant to assist with revising the statement of investment policy for the Trust and monitoring the investment performance of the ScholarShare program manager(s). The consultant will provide investment advice, analyze asset allocation plans, and evaluate the investment performance of the program manager(s). The consultant will also provide general advice, counsel, analyses, and recommendations on investment-related matters. Some key responsibilities include:
• Analyzing and evaluating asset allocation plans for the Trust
• Reviewing and analyzing the investment performance of the program manager(s)
• Providing investment advice and recommendations to the Board
• Participating in the development of request for proposals and subsequent selection process
• Working with the Board's consultants and program manager(s) as needed
• Participating in meetings with the Board, program manager(s), fund managers, stakeholders, and/or outside agencies or research companies.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing investment consulting services to governmental agencies or similar organizations, a strong understanding of investment principles and practices, and excellent communication and analytical skills.
