Information Technology Platform Solution

The Florida Department of Health is seeking to purchase a modified solution for the current uploader process for the file transfer between the Florida Poison Information Center Network (FPICN) and ESSENCE-FL. The solution will replace older methodology with the NPDS Uploader approach that utilizes an XML file format upload method. The modified solution will use the existing NPDS XML file to add new data elements and incorporate the ExpLab table in the database into the XML. • The solution must be able to develop configuration elements such as timing, IP address of upload server, protocol, and login credentials/authentication (encrypted). • The solution must be able to update the FPICN feed into the ESSENCE-FL and is an extension of the existing uploader framework. • NLP Logix developed, tested, and currently maintains this codebase for the process for FPICN, and no other vendor possesses the necessary code source access, configuration knowledge, or operational expertise to modify and extend this platform for use in ESSENCE-FL.
