Description
The Alabama Department of Highway Resources (DHR) is seeking qualified contractors to perform a one‑time preventive‑maintenance (PM) service on HVAC equipment at its county office locations. The contract covers a single PM visit per site between July 1 2026 and September 30 2026, including filter replacement, coil cleaning, system inspections, water‑treatment reporting for 11 water‑based systems, and documentation. Contractors must hold Alabama HVAC, refrigeration, and master gasfitter licenses, EPA Section 608 certification, and must provide written repair quotes before any corrective work. All work must be completed and documented by the September 30 2026 deadline.
• One full PM visit per location (labor, travel, tools, filters, supplies).
• Replace all pleated MERV 10 filters; clean washable filters onsite.
• Detailed inspection forms, before/after photos, and onsite review with County Office Finance Officer.
• Water‑treatment analysis required for 11 water‑system sites; reports required before invoice payment.
• Any repairs identified must be quoted, approved in writing, and finished by 9/30/26.
• Contractor liable for any damage caused; must comply with EPA refrigerant reporting.
