Description
The Navajo Nation Division of Community Development is seeking a qualified general contractor to supply, install, and commission electrically‑operated commercial overhead bay doors at three fire stations (two in Tuba City, AZ; one in Chinle, AZ; and one in Shiprock, NM). The contractor must conduct a mandatory site‑visit, remove existing doors, provide new insulated sectional doors with motors, remote controls, and vehicle‑mounted transmitters, perform all required electrical work, test and commission the systems, train fire‑station personnel, and deliver full documentation and warranties. The contract is a re‑bid, with a maximum construction period of one year and a submission deadline of 28 January 2026.
• Mandatory site‑visit and signed acknowledgment required before proposal submission.
• Bid security of 10 % of proposal amount (for contracts > $50,000).
• Performance and payment bonds, plus insurance minimums, are required.
