Description
The Flint Community Schools is seeking a construction management firm to provide services for the demolition of the existing buildings and site, and the construction of a new Flint High School and associated site improvements. The project includes a gymnasium, auditorium, administration wing, community space, and academic support spaces. The construction manager will be responsible for preconstruction and construction/post-construction services, including estimating, scheduling, and project management. The selected firm will be required to commence preconstruction phase services immediately upon award.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Demolition and abatement of existing buildings and site
• Construction of a new 200,000 SF high school
• Site improvements, including parking lots, athletics, and amenities
• Historic preservation of a portion of the existing high school building
• Project budget: $135,000,000
• Project timeline: approximately 30 months
