Description
The City of Middletown is seeking a qualified consultant to provide Agent of Record services for its health care benefits. The consultant will provide ongoing plan monitoring, expert advice, and specialized services to assist the City in managing its health care benefits. The contract period will be for three years, with optional renewal periods. The consultant will be responsible for providing services such as plan design, stop loss negotiations, and compliance management.
• The consultant will provide 10-14 face-to-face meetings with administrators, health care committee, and City Council/City Manager.
• The consultant will conduct annual plan design strategizing and year-end rating analysis.
• The consultant will provide interaction with the City's chosen providers for stop loss, medical, prescription drugs, dental, vision, FSA, life insurance, online enrollment, and COBRA.
• The consultant will provide review and analysis of data for self-funded medical and prescription drug benefit plan.
• The consultant will provide general compliance consulting, including Medicare Part D letters, CMS notifications, health care reform, and Section 125.
