Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Corrections, is seeking guardianship services for inmates housed in the Department of Corrections facilities who have been adjudicated as incapacitated by the courts. The services will be limited to healthcare matters as determined by the courts. The contract will be for a period of 1 year with the option for 4 one-year renewals.
• The services will include providing guardianship services to inmates who are incapacitated and require healthcare decisions to be made on their behalf.
• The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that the inmates receive necessary medical care and treatment.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• The contractor will be required to provide reports and documentation as requested by the Department of Corrections.
