Acoustic Wind Profiler

The NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center is seeking a small‑business vendor to supply, install, and integrate a complete acoustic wind‑profiling system (SoDAR) capable of operating in harsh desert conditions for real‑time low‑altitude aviation operations. The system must include hardware (acoustic array, enclosure, signal processor, power supply, networking), software, and optional future RASS capability, with full data output compatible with Vista Data Vision and common text formats. Delivery is required within one mile of the AFRC campus, with FOB Destination terms and a 30‑day quote validity. The award will be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation. • Provide one fully‑functional SoDAR system meeting temperature, humidity, wind‑gust, sand, and UV tolerance specifications. • Deliver hardware, software, manuals, and ensure network integration with Windows Server 2022/Windows 11 using static IP. • Offer optional RASS extension for future temperature profiling, and comply with all applicable FAR and NASA clauses (small‑business set‑aside, export controls, duty‑free entry, etc.).
