Description
The California DMV is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive daytime janitorial services for its Quincy Field Office for a three‑year term. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, cleaning chemicals, and supplies, and must comply with state wage, labor, and sanctions requirements. Services include daily cleaning and disinfecting of high‑touch surfaces, restrooms, and office spaces, as well as scheduled weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deep‑cleaning tasks. The award will be based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid that meets all statutory and contractual obligations.
• Provide full‑time daytime cleaning (Monday‑Friday, DMV business hours) for 36 months.
• Perform daily disinfection, restroom sanitation, floor care, waste removal, and maintain a daily maintenance log.
• Complete periodic deep‑cleaning tasks (window cleaning, carpet extraction, floor stripping, etc.) according to a predefined schedule.
• Meet California Government Code §19134 wage rates, Labor Code §§1060‑1065, and Property Service Workers Protection Act requirements, and submit required insurance and DIR registration.
