Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Agfa US Corp. for the maintenance of portable digital X-ray equipment. The contract will be for a one-year base period with two one-year options. The equipment is already in use, and this request is for sustainment of an existing service. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811210, and the business size standard is $34M.
• The contract is for the maintenance of three DX-D 100 MOB WLS DR 40KW (300KHU)/11 portable digital X-ray machines.
• Agfa US Corp. is the only vendor authorized to complete maintenance on these machines.
• The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract.
• Responses to this notice should include a letter from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) stating that the vendor is an authorized distributor.
• The Government reserves the right to not compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice.
