The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is seeking innovative commercial approaches for Specialty Department Operations, specifically for the Delicatessen, Prepared Foods, Bakery, and Sushi departments. The goal is to improve reliability, accountability, and overall service quality by leveraging industry best practices, modern technologies, and creative service models. The contractor will provide secure, efficient, and commercially innovative resale operations services for DeCA's Specialty Departments. Key requirements include:
• Geographic coverage of East and West regions, with the possibility of alternative logistical or regional groupings
• Promotional engagement with a unique military customer base
• Price comparison methodology to improve promotions, adjust product placement, and increase cross-selling
• Reliable access to high-demand, competitively priced items
• Data-driven merchandising to optimize space and maximize sales
