Construction of FF(X) Frigates

The Navy intends to contract with Huntington Ingalls Industries-Ingalls Shipbuilding for the construction of two FF(X) frigates. The contract will cover all efforts necessary to construct and deliver the first two FF(X) frigates, including pre-construction planning, shipyard preparation, material, construction, engineering, testing, sea trials, systems integration, and provisioned item orders.
