Integrated Communications Optical Network (ICON) System Assessment and Upgrade

The City of Denton, Texas intends to negotiate a sole-source procurement for the assessment and upgrade of their Integrated Communications Optical Network (ICON) system. The scope of work includes the network evaluation, purchase of updated ICON hardware, implementation of new ICON hardware, cyber security analysis, and associated training. The city is seeking a contractor with the capability to provide these services, and interested firms must submit their name, address, point of contact, telephone number, email, and capability statement to provide the specified procurement. • The contractor must have training certificates from Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. • The contractor must be capable of meeting or exceeding the requirements stated in the notice. • The city reserves the right to not complete this proposed action based on the responses to this notice.
