Lime Silo Equipment Installation

The project involves the installation of hydrated lime feed and mixer system equipment at the Argo Tunnel Water Treatment Facility in Idaho Springs, Colorado. The facility was designed and constructed to remediate acid mine drainage, and the new equipment will replace existing equipment that is in need of replacement. The contractor will be responsible for installing the equipment as specified in the attached plans and specifications. The project goal is to improve the quality of the environment and public health by continuously improving efforts to conduct proper management of hazardous material and waste. Key aspects of the project include: • Installing the previously purchased hydrated lime feed and mixer system equipment • Monitoring documents and website content for updates and complying with updates • Submitting a signed CDPHE Reimbursement Invoice Form for compensation • Performing work in accordance with the Statement of Work and Budget • Maintaining a separate and distinct business operation from the State • Providing workers' compensation and unemployment compensation insurance • Paying applicable employment taxes and income taxes and local head taxes
