Janitorial Services

The City of Sherman is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for 21 city buildings. The contractor will be responsible for supplying personnel, cleaning supplies, cleaning chemicals, and all equipment necessary to meet the specification goals. The contract is for a period of 5 years, with the option to renew. The contractor must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visits. • The city buildings include City Hall, Library, Parks/Recreation Activity Center, Glennie O’Ham Center, Senior Citizen Center, Wastewater Complex, Municipal Airport, Community Service Building, Municipal Building, Taylor Street Gym, Utilities, West Hill Cemetery Office, Equipment Services, Vehicle Service Center, Solid Waste Recycling, Street Department, Sign Shop, Facilities Service Shop, Tourist Center, Water Plant at La Cima, and Water Quality Services. • The contractor must provide a day porter for up to 40 hours per week. • The contractor must supply all necessary equipment and materials. • The contractor must have experience in providing janitorial services to government entities. • The contractor must provide references for similar services. • The contractor must describe their approach to providing janitorial services, including their plan for onboarding, staffing, and quality control.
