(OPEN) PREQUALIFICATION POOL OF CONTRACTORS FOR MINOR PROJECTS

1. PURPOSE . The City ofMiami Beach is seeking applications from qualified general contractorsfor minor projects to participate in a pool of prequalified generalcontractors for minor projects. Minor projects are defined as thoseprojects under the thresholds stipulated in Section 255.20, FloridaStatutes. Pursuant to Section 255.20, Florida Statutes,construction-type projects exceeding $300,000 may not be awardedpursuant this ITB. To be considered for thepool of pre-qualified resellers, interested parties must submit acomplete Bidder Pre-Qualification Application (Appendix A).The City utilizes Periscope S2G (formerly BidSync)(https://www.periscopeholdings.com/s2g)for automatic notification of solicitation opportunities and documentfulfillment. Any prospective bidder who has received this ITB by anymeans other than through Periscope S2G is solely responsible forregistering immediately with Periscope S2G to assure it receives anyaddendum issued to this ITB. Additionally, prior to submittal of theapplication, bidder shall verify that it has received and compliedwith all addenda issued. Failure to receive an addendum,or comply with an addendum requirement, may result indisqualification of application submitted.2. BACKGROUND AND SCOPE. The City is seekingresponses from State of Florida Certified General Contractor OR Stateof Florida Certified Building Contractor OR Miami-Dade County LicensedGeneral Contractor OR Miami-Dade County Licensed Building Contractorinterested in being prequalified to perform minor constructionprojects as required by City departments.
