Description
Rowan University seeks a qualified firm to provide annual fire‑suppression system inspections (including visual quarterly checks) for all university campuses in New Jersey. The work must comply with NFPA 25, New Jersey statutes, and university policies, covering sprinkler heads, piping, fire pumps, valves, back‑flow devices, and related components. The contract is a one‑year fixed‑term beginning July 1 2026 with two optional one‑year extensions, and payment is on a net‑30 basis after invoicing.
• Perform annual visual inspections of sprinkler systems across multiple campuses (Glassboro, Camden, Stratford, etc.).
• Conduct quarterly visual checks of sprinkler heads, tamper switches, valves, and fire‑pump performance; respond to emergency calls within 1 hour.
• Supply all testing equipment, provide written reports, and obtain prior approval for any repairs or part replacements.
• Maintain required insurance, NJ Business Registration, prevailing‑wage certification, and adhere to strict reporting and record‑retention rules.
• Submit a complete electronic proposal (including all required forms) by June 18 2026.
