CSUSM Kwiila Dining Custodial Services

The University’s corporate entity (CSUSM Corporation) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive custodial and janitorial services for the Kwiila Dining facility on its San Marcos campus. The contractor will be responsible for daily cleaning of dining areas, restrooms, elevators, loading dock, and exterior patio; weekly floor‑scrubbing and interior glass cleaning; monthly deep‑cleaning, high‑dusting, and pressure‑washing; and quarterly equipment cleaning (excluding active cooking equipment unless otherwise authorized). The contract runs from June 2026 through June 30 2029 with two optional two‑year extensions. The work covers roughly 10,000 sq ft and requires the use of food‑safe cleaning products, a quality‑control program, and compliance with numerous state and university regulations. • Daily custodial tasks across front‑of‑house, back‑of‑house, restrooms, elevators, patio, and dock. • Weekly floor‑care (machine‑scrub) and interior glass cleaning; monthly deep‑clean and high‑dusting. • Quarterly kitchen equipment cleaning (non‑cooking equipment) and optional à la carte services.
