Janitorial Services for KY State Treasurer

The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a vendor to provide janitorial services for the Kentucky State Treasurer's office. The services will include daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning tasks, as well as deep cleaning and special event cleaning. The vendor will be required to provide all necessary equipment and supplies, and to ensure that all employees working on the contract have undergone a background check. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional two-year periods. • Daily tasks will include sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, and emptying trash cans. • Weekly tasks will include dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures. • Monthly tasks will include cleaning carpets and upholstered furniture. • Quarterly tasks will include deep cleaning of bathrooms and kitchens. • The vendor will be required to provide a list of all employees working on the contract, along with their social security numbers and background check information. • The vendor will be responsible for ensuring that all employees are properly trained and supervised. • The vendor will be required to provide proof of insurance and to maintain a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance.
