Professional Building Plan Review & Inspections Services (RFQ)

The City of Tampa is seeking well-qualified, experienced, and licensed outside service providers to perform ongoing and as-needed residential and commercial construction plan review and construction inspection services. The services will be used for single and/or multi-story structures that require permitting within the City of Tampa's incorporated area. The selected provider will be responsible for performing plans review and inspections for the building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing trade categories for building code enforcement purposes. • The provider must have a valid Florida driver's license and be well-trained, experienced, licensed, and certified Plan Reviewers and Inspectors. • The provider must observe appropriate dress for the assigned tasks and be professional, courteous, competent, skillful, proficient, and safety-conscious during the performance of duties. • The provider must perform duties while being mindful of the immediate health, safety, and welfare of the public. • The provider must provide plans review and construction inspection services during the established City of Tampa Construction Services hours. • The provider must have sufficient qualified personnel available to perform the services contemplated herein in a safe, efficient, competent, and timely manner.
