Description
The City of Saco is seeking a qualified appraisal firm to conduct a comprehensive Residential Inventory Update (RIU) of all taxable residential properties within the city. The contractor will field‑appraise approximately 7,800 parcels, collect detailed data on each property, produce both paper and electronic record cards compatible with Vision Valuation Software, and coordinate a public‑information program. The effort includes monthly progress reporting, provision of a 100 % performance bond, and adherence to extensive insurance and insurance‑related requirements.
• Field appraisal of ~7,800 residential parcels (≥95 % interior inspections)
• Creation of new 8½” × 11” record cards and a complete electronic dataset for the assessor’s office
• Monthly reporting, public outreach, and delivery of final records within 15 days of contract completion
• Mandatory insurance coverage and a performance bond equal to the total contract price
