Description
The San Bernardino County, Project and Facilities Management Department, is seeking proposals from qualified proposers to provide on-call door and gate services at various locations within the county. The contract period will be for a maximum of 5 years, with an estimated budget of $1,000,000. The selected vendor will be required to provide services including door and gate repair and replacement, with a response time of no more than 2 hours. The proposal should include all transportation, lodging, and per diem costs sufficient to pay its personnel and travel to the aforementioned locations.
• The contract will be awarded based on the best value evaluation, considering factors such as quality, price, and qualitative elements.
• The county reserves the right to reject any or all proposals if it is in the best interest of the county to do so.
• The selected vendor will be required to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, codes, and regulations.
• The vendor must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations as required by Senate Bill 854 and Senate Bill 96.
• The vendor must comply with the California Apprenticeship Council's requirements for apprenticeable trades or crafts.
