Description
The Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the construction of an animal shelter. The project involves constructing a shelter per plans dated 1/7/2025. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on April 23, 2026. Bids are due by May 7, 2026. The contract term is 180 calendar days from the day the Notice to Proceed is issued.
• The project requires a bid bond of 5% of the total bid amount.
• The contractor must provide performance and payment bonds of 100% of the total contract price.
• The contractor must comply with all state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
• The contractor must provide a drug-free workplace and comply with the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act.
• The contractor must register and participate in a federal work authorization program to verify the work eligibility of all new employees.
