Description
The State of Missouri is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for a state-leased building in Kansas City, Missouri. The contractor will be responsible for providing evening janitorial services, including daily, weekly, monthly, and semi-annual tasks, to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the building's tenants and visitors. The contractor must have at least two years of experience providing janitorial services for office buildings with a minimum of 9,900 square feet. The contract period is for one year, with the option to renew.
Some key tasks and requirements include:
* Providing all necessary equipment, supplies, and labor to perform the services required
* Performing daily tasks such as emptying trash, cleaning glass surfaces, and sweeping and mopping floors
* Performing weekly tasks such as washing and disinfecting wastebaskets and cleaning air diffusers
* Performing monthly tasks such as damp mopping and machine scrubbing floors
* Performing semi-annual tasks such as deep carpet cleaning and machine scrubbing ceramic floor areas
* Maintaining a daily log of services performed and reporting any damage or issues found
* Providing a contact person who resides within 45 miles of the building and can communicate and act on behalf of the contractor
