J065--Lease of MRI Unit and MRI Transportable Imaging Suite

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from contractors for the lease of an MRI Unit and MRI Transportable Imaging Suite for the VA New Jersey Healthcare System. The contractor will be responsible for delivering, installing, and maintaining the equipment, as well as providing training and support to VA staff. The contract will have a base year and four option years, with a total period of performance of five years. The contractor must provide a capability statement, examples of similar work, and information on their socioeconomic category. Some key requirements of the contract include: • Providing a brand-new MRI Unit and Transportable Imaging Suite • Delivering and installing the equipment at the VA New Jersey Healthcare System • Maintaining an uptime guarantee of 98% for each device • Providing on-site clinical applications training for VA staff • Offering continuing education credits for technologists who complete the training • Ensuring compatibility with AGFA PACS, Cerner, and VistA Imaging • Maintaining the latest DICOM print, store, commit, structured report, and modality worklist compatibility
