Description
The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County is soliciting bids to provide an Automatic Strainer-Direct Replacement for ACC North Oconee WRF for the Public Utilities Department. The project consists of removing the existing strainer, installing a new 16” Hellan Strainer, and providing two new 16” Flange Gasket Kits. The contractor shall furnish all service, personnel, material, tools, and equipment necessary for the completion of the bid. The estimated range of this project is $125,000 – $175,000.
• The contractor shall travel to the site, remove the existing strainer, and install the new strainer.
• The contractor shall provide two new 16” Flange Gasket Kits.
• The contractor shall clean up the site and return it to its original condition.
• The owner is responsible for having the strainer isolated prior to the installer's arrival.
• The owner is responsible for handling the wiring of the actuator.
