600 MHz Spectrometer System

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to issue a Sole Source Purchase Order to Jensen Hughes to provide a 600 MHz Spectrometer System. The proposed purchase is a solid-state high field Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (SS-NMR) Spectrometer consisting of a 14.0 Tesla (600 MHz) superconducting magnet system, a four channel NMR console, one solution NMR probe and two solid-state NMR probes. The contractor shall provide a 600 MHz Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer that at a minimum meets the requirements described in the document. Some key features of the spectrometer include: • A 14.0 Tesla (600 MHz) superconducting magnet system • A four channel NMR console • One solution NMR probe and two solid-state NMR probes • The ability to perform advanced studies of solids and liquids • Installation and training included in the purchase cost
