Description
The Haralson County School District is seeking proposals for custodial services at various school facilities. The contract will cover the entirety of the school year, plus specified cleaning during summer, Thanksgiving, and Christmas breaks. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing a range of custodial services, including cleaning classrooms, offices, hallways, and restrooms, as well as maintaining building entrances and grounds. The contract should begin immediately following the end of the school year and should be completed 7 days prior to pre-planning.
Some key responsibilities of the contractor include:
• Opening and securing buildings
• Inspecting and correcting deficiencies
• Cleaning up after breakfast and lunch
• Maintaining restrooms and common areas
• Removing trash and debris from grounds
• Sweeping entrances, doorways, steps, and curbs
• Pressure washing facility entrances
The district has provided a frequency chart outlining the expected cleaning schedule for various areas, including classrooms, offices, hallways, and restrooms.
