Request for Proposals (“RFP”) No. 25-19 – Vending Machine Operations

The City of Escondido is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide vending machine operations at three of its recreation facilities. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing healthy snacks, water, soft drinks, and sports drinks, as well as maintaining and restocking the vending machines. The contract will be for a period of three years, with two optional one-year extensions. The City is looking for a contractor that can provide a comprehensive vending option, including cash, card, and other payment methods, as well as cellular connectivity and real-time inventory monitoring. The contractor will be required to submit monthly financial reports and pay a percentage of monthly sales to the City.
