Withlacoochee Water Pollution Control Plant – Belt Filter Press Replacement

The City of Valdosta is seeking bids for the replacement of the Belt Filter Press at the Withlacoochee Water Pollution Control Plant. The project includes demolition of the existing Belt Filter Press, installation of a new one, and other related work. The bid must include all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project. The City of Valdosta reserves the right to reject any and all bids. • The project requires a Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Visit. • The bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid. • The City of Valdosta will award the contract to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. • The project must be completed within 365 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. • The contractor must provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. • The contractor must maintain record documents in good order and in a clean, dry, legible condition.
