PTAC Replacement

Iowa Department of Public Safety is soliciting a sealed‑bid contract to remove existing PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air‑Conditioner) units at Camp Dodge and install new Amana PTC153J35AXXX units with PECO thermostats, conduit, and wiring. The work is divided into four lump‑sum service lines covering a total of 258 units, with a one‑year labor and parts warranty and normal business‑hour constraints. • Remove a project‑determined number of existing PTAC units and control devices. • Supply and install Amana electric‑heat PTAC units and PECO thermostats, including conduit, wiring, start‑up testing, and documentation. • Provide a one‑year warranty; work limited to Mon‑Fri 08:00‑16:30. • Four separate service line contracts (72 units, 62 units, 62 units, 62 units) may be awarded individually or together. • Mandatory site visit on June 30 2026; sealed bid submission due July 15 2026 1 PM CDT.
