IDEAS FOR IMPACT RFEI

The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is issuing a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) to facilitate submission and review of partnership ideas that fall outside the scope of NYCEDC's other active solicitations. The RFEI is open to private sector and non-profit organizations, and respondents are encouraged to propose creative, economically viable, and financially sustainable projects that directly benefit the people and businesses of New York City. The proposals will undergo a tiered evaluation process, and strong proposals may be implemented in a variety of ways, including contracts, competitive procurements, or alternative partnership structures. Some key points to consider: • Proposals can include programmatic initiatives, technology pilots, capital projects, impact investment opportunities, and improvements to NYCEDC operations • NYCEDC may provide limited seed capital, but the RFEI is primarily focused on sourcing proposals that leverage NYCEDC's in-kind, non-financial resources • Proposals will be evaluated based on factors including the proposal profile, financial profile, and impact profile • Certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) are strongly encouraged to apply
