PHOENIX DEER VALLEY AIRPORT TERMINAL MODERNIZATION CMAR

The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide preconstruction services and complete construction services for the Phoenix Deer Valley Airport Terminal Modernization project. The selected CMAR will work as a team with the designer of record and City staff to ensure an efficient design approach for the project. The project consists of both interior and exterior components, including upgraded finishes, materials, and lighting, relocation of airport administration, terminal lobby improvements, and removal of existing canopies. The CMAR will be responsible for construction means and methods, and will be required to solicit bids from prequalified subcontractors. Key information to consider includes: • The project's estimated construction cost is $10 million. • The CMAR will be selected through a qualifications-based selection process. • The City expects to create a final list of at least one, but not more than three firms for this project. • The City may conduct a due diligence review on the firm receiving the highest evaluation. • The successful firm will be notified directly by the City.
