Zero-Emission Battery Electric Top Handlers at the Port of Los Angeles

Everport Terminal Services is requesting proposals to build and deliver 31 battery-electric top handlers and provide warranty and maintenance services in support of their Environmental Protection Agency funded terminal electrification project. The project aims to deploy zero-emission equipment at the Port of Los Angeles. The selected proposer will be required to provide equipment that meets the minimum specifications, telematics and data collection requirements, and warranty services. The contract term will conclude on December 31, 2028. • The project includes the deployment of 31 battery-electric top handlers • The equipment must meet the minimum specifications, including power source, rated capacity, run time, and charging time • The telematics system must support the EPA Clean Ports Program reporting requirements • The selected proposer will be required to provide warranty services, including a minimum of three years or 7,500 hours • The proposer must also provide maintenance training and tools to ensure appropriate maintenance is conducted throughout the life of each top handler
