Purchase and Delivery of Mortuary Equipment and Supplies

The Department of Property and Procurement is seeking a contractor to provide purchase and delivery services for mortuary equipment and supplies. The contractor will be required to deliver the items directly to the Department of Justice, and the deliveries must be made within 20 calendar days after receipt of an official Purchase Order. The contractor will also be responsible for inspecting and receiving the items, and for labeling and stamping all merchandise to indicate the quality, quantity, and brand offered. The scope of work includes providing the following items: nail clippers, dissection scissors, headblocks, body boards, and other mortuary equipment and supplies. • The contractor must provide the items in accordance with the specifications contained in the scope of work. • The contractor must label and stamp all merchandise to include the quality, quantity, and brand offered. • The contractor must deliver the items directly to the Department of Justice. • The contractor must inspect and receive the items, and must assume all responsibilities for delivery, including picking up from docks and transporting to the Department. • The contractor must provide the items within 20 calendar days after receipt of an official Purchase Order.
