Description
The Caddo Parish School Board seeks a qualified contractor to perform a comprehensive facilities condition assessment for all elementary and middle‑school sites (≈56 schools, ~33,000 students). The contractor will inspect building envelopes, structural components, mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, safety and compliance issues (ADA/Title IX), develop depreciation schedules, and propose prioritized renovation options with cost estimates, including sustainable/green recommendations. The work is expected to be completed within 6‑9 months after award, with a maximum contract budget of $150,000.
• Conduct on‑site inspections of exterior, interior, systems, safety, and parking/traffic flow.
• Produce detailed condition reports, depreciation schedules, and cost‑estimated improvement options.
• Deliver a final presentation to the school board and attend 3‑4 board meetings during the contract period.
• Must hold a Louisiana contractor’s license (or any U.S. state license with eligibility to do business in LA) and meet insurance and background‑check requirements.
