Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Preventative Maintenance Service for Leica BONDRXm Processing Module

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate and award a contract for preventative maintenance and service support for government-owned Leica BOND RX Research Advanced Staining System(s). The contract will be awarded to Leica Microsystems Inc. without providing for full and open competition. The BOND RX system is a highly specialized automated staining platform that incorporates proprietary hardware, software, reagents, and system components unique to Leica Biosystems. The contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-99-1.
