Description

The Wake County Public School System is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive professional learning series focused on strengthening instructional leadership, instructional coaching, and high-quality teaching practices across schools. The series should include seven half-day face-to-face professional learning sessions, targeting principals, assistant principals, and school-based instructional coaches. The vendor should provide a combination of professional learning, actionable strategic instructional leadership outcomes, coaching and feedback structures, walkthrough and observation support, learning labs, and classroom-based experiences. The district seeks a partner that values alignment, coherence, and sustainability rather than isolated initiatives. Some key aspects of the project include: • Building common instructional language • Improving instructional quality • Strengthening coaching and feedback systems • Enhancing walkthrough and observation practices • Promoting aligned instructional expectations across departments and schools • Providing research-based instructional leadership strategies • Supporting continuity with existing successful school-based practices The selected vendor will be expected to provide deliverables such as professional learning sessions, learning lab structures, observation tools, coaching lab protocols, feedback frameworks, and implementation support recommendations.

Budget estimate

$200,000 – $500,000

The budget for this opportunity is not explicitly stated in the document. However, considering the scope of the project, which includes seven half-day professional learning sessions and various support services, a reasonable estimate for the budget could be in the range of $200,000 to $500,000. This estimate is based on the assumption that the vendor will need to provide a team of experienced professionals to deliver the services, and the district will need to cover the costs of materials, travel, and other expenses. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the vendor's expertise, the level of customization required, and the district's budget constraints.
