Proxy Advisory Services

The Teacher Retirement System of Texas is seeking a vendor to provide proxy advisory services, including assisting and advising TRS investment staff, researching and voting shareholder proxies on behalf of TRS, and providing comprehensive proxy advisory and voting services. The selected vendor will be required to monitor TRS portfolio holdings, track and analyze corporate meeting schedules and agendas, research proxy proposals, and recommend TRS votes. The contract term will be five years, with one optional one-year renewal term. • The vendor will be required to provide services in accordance with the solicitation and the contract. • The vendor will be required to comply with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission regulations. • The vendor will be required to provide a comprehensive proxy advisory and voting service. • The vendor will be required to monitor TRS portfolio holdings and track and analyze corporate meeting schedules and agendas. • The vendor will be required to research proxy proposals and recommend TRS votes.
