ABB Electric Bus Charger Training

The Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking a vendor to provide Level 1 through 3 training for the 300 kW ABB charging system installed at Metro's Shepherd Parkway Bus Division. The training should be designed to ensure that Metro's maintenance and engineering personnel are fully equipped to safely operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the charging system. The training program should include class sessions and online learning. The following are the specific training sessions required: • Basic charger 101 training: Class Sessions (1 session) • Engineering and Test Technician Training: Class Sessions (4 sessions) • Intermediate Charger Service Training: Class Sessions (4 sessions) • Intermediate Charger Service Training: Prerequisite Online Learning (30 sessions)
