Description
Montebello Unified School District is seeking qualified contractors to perform hazardous‑materials (haz‑mat) and acid chemical cleanup of Classroom C‑15 at Montebello High School. The work will be detailed during a mandatory on‑site job walk, after which bidders must submit a complete RFQ package (Packet A – qualification questionnaire and Packet B – bid proposal). The contract will be awarded to the best‑value, pre‑qualified vendor and will include a minimum one‑year warranty and insurance requirements.
• Mandatory job walk / site visit on 3 Mar 2026 at 9 a.m. (required for all bidders).
• Bids due 3 Mar 2026 by 9 a.m. via the Colbi Secure Bids portal; questions must be submitted by 2 p.m. on the same day.
• Vendors must already be on MUSD’s pre‑qualified contractor list, hold a valid California contractor’s license, and provide required insurance certificates (workers’ comp, general liability, automobile, etc.).
• Contract includes a 1‑year warranty, 120‑day price‑firmness period, Net 30 payment terms, and a 30‑day termination notice by the District.
