Notice of Intent to Sole Source BAS Server & Laptop Replacement

The U.S. Department of State intends to award a sole source contract to Johnson Controls Inc. for the replacement of the Building Automation System (BAS) server and three dedicated workstation laptops at the U.S. Embassy in Libreville, Gabon. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, software licenses, and technical expertise necessary for a full installation and integration of the Building Automation System. The project duration is expected to be 100 days. The estimated value of the contract is $69,397.44. • The contractor must provide a METASYS-compatible server and laptops. • The contractor must integrate the new system with existing METASYS field equipment. • The contractor must provide operator training and all associated travel expenses. • The contractor must migrate the existing database to the new system. • The contractor must provide all required METASYS Version 13 software licenses.
