The Department of Children and Families is seeking applications from eligible entities to provide developmentally appropriate recovery housing and comprehensive support services for young adults aged 18-24 with opioid and/or stimulant use disorders. The initiative aims to address gaps in Florida's behavioral health continuum by expanding access to safe, stable, and recovery-oriented housing paired with coordinated, trauma-informed services. Key services include:
• Providing recovery housing and support services for young adults with opioid and/or stimulant use disorders
• Coordinating with other service providers to ensure comprehensive care
• Reporting progress and outcomes to the Department
• Participating in quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery
The Department expects applicants to demonstrate experience in providing recovery housing and support services, as well as a strong understanding of the needs of young adults with opioid and/or stimulant use disorders.
