IFB - School Bus Transportation

The Town of Franklin is seeking sealed bids to provide school bus transportation for its public schools. The contract will include the furnishing of all necessary transportation equipment, inspection, fleet maintenance, and garaging of equipment, as well as qualified staff to operate the vehicles. The contractor will also be responsible for registration, licensing, insurance, training, and safety instruction. The project is estimated to cost $1,992,000.00 and will start on July 1, 2026. • The contract will be for a one-year period with two one-year options to renew. • The contractor must provide qualified staff to operate the vehicles and provide training and supervision. • The contractor is responsible for the registration, licensing, insurance, training, and safety instruction of staff. • The contractor must conform to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the federal government.
