Description
The City of College Park is seeking a qualified contractor to provide turnkey chiller installation services, including equipment, labor, materials, and all related work necessary for complete installation and operational functionality. The scope of work includes demolition, removal, and disposal of existing chiller plant equipment, installation of new mechanical equipment, piping, valves, and hydronic systems, electrical scope, controls, and building automation system. The contractor must demonstrate experience with commercial HVAC and chiller installation projects of similar size and scope and possess all required licenses and insurance coverage.
• The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and related services necessary for a complete turnkey chiller installation.
• The contractor shall comply with all applicable codes, manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and City requirements.
• The contractor shall provide a fully functional control system, including integration of all chiller plant components.
• The contractor shall provide a dual-zone refrigerant monitoring system, including sensors, alarms, and integration with the BAS.
• The contractor shall provide complete system startup, including factory-authorized startup assistance, functional performance testing, and load testing under normal operating conditions.
