UNLV Transit Parking Garage Third Party Inspectors

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is seeking a qualified independent third-party inspection and materials-testing firm to provide comprehensive inspection, observation, and testing services for the construction of a new six-level cast-in-place reinforced-concrete parking garage on the UNLV campus. The selected Consultant shall perform services in compliance with the 2018 International Building Code (IBC) and applicable Clark County Amendments, Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 625 and Chapter 341 (State Public Works Division requirements), and ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, AWS, and ICC testing standards. The scope of work includes soils and earthwork testing, foundations and cast-in-place concrete, structural steel and welding, post-tensioning and reinforcing steel, masonry construction, waterproofing, fireproofing and coatings, and structural observation and documentation. The Consultant shall ensure all personnel comply with UNLV campus safety protocols and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. • Key services: inspection, observation, and testing services for the construction of a new six-level cast-in-place reinforced-concrete parking garage • Key requirements: compliance with IBC, Clark County Amendments, and Nevada Revised Statutes • Key deliverables: daily field reports, laboratory reports, and a final inspection summary and certification of compliance
