LSUS Athletics - Charter Bus Services - Term Contract

The Louisiana State University and Agricultural & Mechanical College is soliciting bids for charter bus services for the LSUS Athletic Department. The contract will be for a term of one year, from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The supplier will be required to provide charter buses that meet certain specifications, including being 2020 model year or newer, having a current Atlas or GPS, and having certain features such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and lockable storage bays. The supplier will also be required to provide drivers with at least three years of experience and to have available on-road service arrangements and/or an acceptable replacement vehicle in the event of an accident or mechanical failure. The university reserves the right to charter buses for any LSUS department during the course of the contract. • The supplier must be able to have a charter bus at LSUS within 24 hours of an emergency call for a bus. • The supplier must provide motor coaches that meet the specifications listed in the bid. • The supplier must provide drivers with at least three years of driving experience. • The supplier shall be responsible for paying all tolls, parking fees, and other trip-related expenses. • The supplier must have available on-road service arrangements and/or an acceptable replacement vehicle in the event of an accident or mechanical failure.
