Description

The City of Lincoln (in partnership with Lancaster County) is seeking qualified vendors to supply and fabricate traffic signs and associated aluminum components in compliance with the Federal Highway Administration’s MUTCD and Nebraska’s state supplement. All signs must be produced from specified 3M sheeting materials, adhere to strict dimensional and durability standards, and be delivered FOB Destination to designated municipal facilities. The contract includes warranty provisions, inspection upon receipt, and the requirement to correct any defects at the contractor’s expense. Vendors will receive individual purchase orders and must group invoicing accordingly. Delivery windows are limited to normal business hours, and coordination with the senior traffic technician is required.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $300,000

No contract value is disclosed in the notice. Based on typical municipal traffic‑sign procurement volumes (hundreds of signs ranging from $50 to $500 each) and the inclusion of material, fabrication, warranty, and delivery, a reasonable estimate for the total contract award would be between $100,000 and $300,000. The final amount will depend on the quantity and mix of sign types ordered throughout the contract year.
